Parental Consent To Participate In All Activities

I certify that I, the legal parent/guardian grant permission for my child/T-Camper listed above, to participate in all activities of HiTOWER MEDIA's Technology Camp. I acknowledge that the possession or use of alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs are strictly forbidden at camp property. Also, the possession of any weapon (firearm, knife, explosives, etc.) is strictly forbidden and can lead to immediate participation termination. I certify that my child has no physical or medical limitations that would cause the following T-Camp daily activities to be detrimental or dangerous to my child: sit for a long period of time, operate mouse and keyboard, work in front of a computer screen long hours, take notes, use high levels of concentration, going up and downstairs, take breaks to stretch, eat lunch outdoors, and participate in outdoor games. In the case of injury or accident, I agree to release and hold harmless HiTOWER MEDIA/Technology Camp, and its founder, directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, and volunteers from any and all injury claims of any other nature which may result from my child's participation at and travel to or from the camp location. I agree to indemnify and hold HiTOWER MEDIA/Technology Camp, its Staff and other children at the camp harmless from any and all liability caused by my child, whether or not intentional.

Medical Consent

HiTOWER MEDIA/Technology Camp will make every effort to contact me in the case of an emergency. I give my permission for HiTOWER MEDIA/Technology Camp and its staff to administer any medications needed and to provide and arrange for any necessary medical treatment to my child while at the camp, including onsite and offsite emergency care. I accept responsibility for the costs of all such medical treatment.

CYBERSECURITY & DEVICES POLICY

I understand that my child will be online most of the time during HiTOWER MEDIA's Technology Camp. I am aware of the dangers of the world wide web, therefore I commit to talk to my child before camp starts about the following: My child will not share personal security logins with other T-Campers or staff. My child will only visit secure websites used at T-Camp, which are for learning, working, and belong to reputable companies up-to-date with SSL security technology. My child will not use his/her laptop, camp computer or any other device during camp hours to visit websites that are considered dangerous, prohibited, and/or unknown. This includes x-rated websites, entertainment videos charged with foul language and sexual explicit content, and gaming websites. Gaming on the cellphone during learning hours is prohibited. My child's laptop has an up-to-date antivirus/firewall software. I acknowledge that my child is responsible for his/her personal laptop, and will be the only one operating it during Technology Camp, therefore in the event of malfunction or damage I agree to release and hold harmless HiTOWER MEDIA/Technology Camp, and its founder, directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, and volunteers from any and all destruction of property claims of any other nature which may result from my child's participation at the camp. I agree to indemnify and hold HiTOWER MEDIA/Technology Camp, its Staff and other children at the camp harmless from any and all liability caused by my child, whether or not intentional. I understand in the event of damage or malfunction, I am responsible for replacing or repairing the damaged device, at my own cost.

PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE

In consideration of my child’s participation at HiTOWER MEDIA/Technology Camp, I hereby grant permission to HiTOWER MEDIA/Technology Camp, staff and affiliates to utilize my child's appearance, performance or voice in any and all media (photos, videos, clips, posts, banners, promos) throughout social media, company website, and printed materials for the purpose of promotion, reporting or publication of HiTOWER MEDIA/Technology Camp. I understand that no royalty, fee or any other compensation of any kind shall become payable to me by reason of such release and use of any photograph/video/promotional media.
